Research Results using Bluezone® Fresh Preservation Technology

Refrigerated Storage FFV Research Trials

 

Introduction

Strawberry Test with Bluezone® Technology for Mould Control/Fresh Preservation. Strawberries were stored for 10 Days under Bluezone® Control and tested for mould, ripening, and undesirable odors.  These were tested with strawberries from the same original pallet stored in an identical refrigerated chamber without the Bluezone® Unit.
 

Results

Web Cam of Berries shows mould development in Non-Controlled Unit.
No Mould visible in Bluezone® Unit

Conclusion

Strawberries stored for 10 Days under Bluezone® Control exhibited significantly less mould, less ripening, and less undesirable odor than strawberries from the same original pallet stored in an identical refrigerated chamber without the Bluezone® Unit.
